Data sharing in value chains – HPDO session 3

This year, the High-Performance Digital Organisations (HPDO) program focuses on end-to-end value journeys. In this research study, we want to discover the significance of data sharing. We will study the implications of Digital Transformations. How to transform operating and business models? How to approach collaboration and partnering?

Data is at the heart of digital transformations and requires data sharing in organizations and value chains. Many organizations are on the right track regarding sharing data in organizations, but sharing data in value chains is more challenging for many organizations. Organizations must enable data (re)use, facilitate data democratization, and ensure secure data processing as an integral part of cyber security across end-to-end value journeys.

Digital transformation drives client-focused changes in operation, organization, and business models and require collaboration and partnering. Adopting new technologies is no longer the biggest challenge for organizations, as most organizations have embraced modular IT. Although many organizations are making baby steps in adopting and implementing artificial intelligence, a critical enabler in any digital transformation and data sharing in end-to-end value journeys.
